The Intiative

The Initiative is a powerful movement that began nearly two decades ago. The mission has always been to organize and lead community-driven activities that foster a safe, inclusive environment where people can connect, thrive, and make a meaningful impact.

Through various events that engage as many people as possible, The Initiative creates awareness and raises crucial funds for causes that need our support. This focus on community impact is at the heart of our success — it defines who we are.

Over the years, our efforts have included:

  • Recognizing people that help in the community.

  • Providing warm clothing for the homeless in local communities.

  • Organizing large-scale fundraisers for GlobalMedic, supporting emergency disaster relief and water purification in disaster-stricken regions worldwide.

  • Supporting children and families facing life-threatening illnesses and special needs.

We are proud to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our passion for spreading love, support, and kindness. If you’ve encountered Off Limit Sports or Go West Athletics, you’ve seen this network of support in action. We deeply appreciate everyone who donates their time, funding, expertise, staff, equipment, design, marketing skills — and more — to our cause.

Join us! Be part of a movement that not only helps others but also inspires them. Together, we can make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Ginger's Tourney Initiative

Ryan lives and breathes volleyball! He's the go-to guy for setting up courts and planning awesome outings, like cheering on the Jays.

To celebrate his birthday this year, we're throwing him an epic volleyball tournament.

It's open to all his friends and fellow volleyball enthusiasts in the community. Don't worry about equipment - we've got you covered. Just show up, bring your game face, and let's have a blast!

2025 Spring & Summer Leauges & Tournaments Coming Soon

As a nonprofit, we are committed to developing social sports programs that benefit our members and communities locally and globally. While our website may be a work in progress, we are dedicated to enhancing it over time.

That said, we try to rely on the support of our program participants, partners/supporters, and community members to launch and sustain our initiatives. This leaves us with more time to develop and maintain our social sports programs. Please stay tuned for updates on our upcoming programs and specials.
